** Kate Rubins – Scientist in Space NASA Johnson

During the past six months, NASA astronaut Kate Rubins has embodied what it means to be an International Space Station scientist. She spent hundreds of hours working on space station experiments, talking with the researchers behind the studies, and serving as an ambassador for science in downlinks. Rubins built on experiments she conducted during her first mission in 2016, working on new heart research and DNA sequencing. ** Science Launching on SpaceX’s 22nd Cargo Resupply Mission to the Space StationNASA

The 22nd SpaceX cargo resupply mission carrying scientific research and technology demonstrations launches to the International Space Station from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida no earlier than June 3.
