“To the Stars – International Quarterly” – free space publication

The Moon Society has been publishing Moon Miners’ Manifesto India Quarterly – “M3IQ” since 2008. The 21 issues are available for free in pdf form.

Beginning this month, the India Quarterly will be folded in the expanded To the Stars – International Quarterly. The first issue has 123 pages of space news and articles: To the Stars – International Quarterly #6 – Jan.2014 (pdf).

The Moon Society also offers the Moon Miners Manifesto, a monthly publication for members.

2. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, 7-8:30 PM PST (10-11:30 PM EST, 9-10:30 PM CST): This is program number two in our look back at commercial space, NewSpace and the space industry as TOM OLSON documents the year 2005 with this Golden Oldie from Dec. 27,2005. 3. NSS Roadmap to Space Settlement Art Contest

The National Space Society is sponsoring the NSS Roadmap to Space Settlement Art Contest

The National Space Society (NSS) is looking for student artists to create illustrations for the NSS Roadmap to Space Settlement. Submitted artwork should REALISTICALLY illustrate one of this year’s two themes: Asteroid Settlement or Building a Space Settlement.

All full-time students at any grade level between the ages of 12 and 25 are eligible.

The deadline for submissions is March 16, 2014 (11:59 pm Universal Time).

Our goal is to have winners announced by April 1, 2014.
