As noted here recently, the Planet Hunters Ccitizen science project has recently announced the discovery of 14 exoplanet candidates, including the seventh in the first 7-planet system, which has the romanatic name of KOI-351. Robert Simpson, a co-author of the paper on the findings, has used the Celestia astronomy simulator to depict the KOI-351 system. Zooniverse is an organization that runs a number of citizen science programs including Moon Zoo and Planet Hunters mentioned above. They are looking for programmers to work for them : Want to work with the Zooniverse?  Zooniverse.

  1. I don’t believe Moller is scamming anyone, unless it’s himself. He has spent his entire life on this quest. He has made lots of money on spinoffs like the Supertrapp mufflers and then spent all of it on the Skycar project.

    There is a vast amount of info on what he has been doing for 40 years. Anyone who participates in the crowdfunding or buys stock, etc. must be aware of all that and goes in not out of gullibility but out of a belief in Moller as a valiant dreamer and inventive whiz attempting something incredibly difficult and who still might get the thing off the ground if he can just get a bit more funding.
