  1. I wouldn’t want Hollywood touching any of those if they did to them what was done in the film version of Heinlein’s Starship Troopers.

  2. They certainly have made a hash of many sci-fi novels. Bradbury said he didn’t like any of the films made from his stories. (Personally, I really liked Illustrated Man with Rod Steiger.)

    OTOH, Some of the Philip K. Dick based novels have been treated well. Kubrick did well with a short story by Clarke…
