A Space Hobby in the Spotlight

Paper card models: Building models from stiff card paper has become a popular hobby and a diverse array of space-related paper models are now available. Typically the plans are provided as a parts layout on a pdf file (e.g. see the Destiny Module plan shown above) and often the files are available for free. More elaborate laser cut card paper models are available for a reasonable price. Note that paper models extend beyond spacecraft. See, for example, the Space Shuttle Flight Deck available at the Space Shuttle Simulator.

Find out more about other types of modeling in the Space Models section.
