He has too much on his plate\u00a0(i.e. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spacex.com\" target=\"_blank\">SpaceX<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.TeslaMotors.com\" target=\"_blank\">Tesla Motors<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.solarcity.com\/.com\" target=\"_blank\">Solar City<\/a>)\u00a0to pursue the idea himself and instead has encouraged others to try to make it happen.<\/p>\n<p>In September of 2013 came word that a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hobbyspace.com\/Blog\/?p=4696\" target=\"_d\">Hyperloop company<\/a>\u00a0had been formed to try to develop a hyperloop system. The company is a virtual one based\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpstartfund.com\/#!\/p\/hyperloop\/overview\" target=\"_d\">at the JumpStartFund<\/a>\u00a0with over 100 engineers who work part time on developing real-world\u00a0build-able design. The 25 students work at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aud.ucla.edu\/programs\/m_arch_ii_degree_1\/studios\/2014_2015\/hodgetts\/\" target=\"_d\">SUPRASTUDIO under Prof.\u00a0Craig Hodgetts<\/a>.
