{"id":9370,"date":"2014-12-04T17:39:11","date_gmt":"2014-12-04T22:39:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hobbyspace.com\/Blog\/?p=9370"},"modified":"2014-12-04T17:39:11","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T22:39:11","slug":"sci-tech-machs-principle-james-woodward-and-propellantless-propulsion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hobbyspace.com\/Blog\/?p=9370","title":{"rendered":"Sci-Tech: Mach&#8217;s principle, James Woodward, and propellantless propulsion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last January\u00a0at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/press\/2014\/january\/stanford-hosts-nasa-innovative-advanced-concepts-symposium\/\" target=\"_blank\">NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts Symposium<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/thespaceshow.com\/detail.asp?q=1784\" target=\"_blank\">Gary Hudson<\/a>, head of the\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/ssi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Space Studies Institute<\/a>, outlined the experimental investigation\u00a0that\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/physics.fullerton.edu\/~jimw\/\" target=\"_blank\">James Woodward<\/a>\u00a0at California State University Fullerton has been doing for many years into the question of whether\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mach%27s_principle\" target=\"_blank\">Mach&#8217;s principle<\/a>\u00a0leads to\u00a0propellantless propulsion.
