Explore for good.&#8221; They define a &#8220;humanitarian space agency&#8221; as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>It\u2019s a organization that helps people on Earth and beyond through the use of space technologies. Today, this help comes in the form of satellite imagery, improved housing, life-support systems, and science and education programs. Tomorrow it could mean interstellar Internet access; Mars and Moon aid; or a million other things.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Their primary goals currently appeared to be implementing <a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/missions\/\" target=\"_d\">Humanitarian Space Missions<\/a>. Here are three current missions\u00a0&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><a title=\"ExploraLab\" href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/exploralab\">ExploraLab<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0<em>Would you like to send something to the stratosphere?\u00a0<a title=\"ExploraLab\" href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/exploralab\">ExploraLab<\/a>\u00a0is your rocket-shaped experiment payload carrier. Simply create an experiment, put it into an ExploraLab, and drop it in the mail. We\u2019ll make sure that it flies high and then gets delivered back to you!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><a title=\"SHIM Mission\" href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/shim-1\">SHIM-1<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<em>SHIM-1 is a mission about saving lives. We\u2019re working to purchase real-time satellite photos for humanitarian efforts, such as emergency relief organizations and international human rights watchdogs.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/shim-1\">Discover how you can help.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a title=\"HOME Mission\" href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/home-1\"><strong>HOME-<\/strong>1<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<em>HOME stands for Human Optimized Modular Environment. The mission of the HOME program is to improve human life by improving housing. We\u2019re working on building HOMEs for on and off-Earth use.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/home-1\">Check out this awesome project.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Two completed missions are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/balloonsat1\/\" target=\"_d\">BalloonSat-1<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/balloonsat-2\/\" target=\"_d\">BalloonSat-2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can follow their activities and progress at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spaceunited.org\/blog\/\" target=\"_d\">SpaceUnited Blog<\/a>.
