(See video below.) Sightings were reported in the cities of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chelyabinsk\" target=\"_blank\">Chelyabinsk<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yekaterinburg\" target=\"_blank\">Yekaterinburg<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tyumen\" target=\"_blank\">Tyumen<\/a>. The meteoroid that caused the shower came from a much different orbit than asteroid 2012 DA14 and so they are not related: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popsci.com\/science\/article\/2013-02\/there-no-connection-between-russias-meteorite-and-todays-near-earth-asteroid\" target=\"_d\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.popsci.com\/science\/article\/2013-02\/there-no-connection-between-russias-meteorite-and-todays-near-earth-asteroid\">Astronomers: Russia&#8217;s Meteorite Is Not Related To Today&#8217;s Near-Earth Asteroid Fly-By &#8211; Popular Science<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From reading the articles today, some definitions are in order.
