Christies \u00a0just had an auction of\u00a0Post-War and Contemporary Art<\/a>\u00a0and it included the piece B\u00f6cklin’s Tomb (copied from ‘Floating Cities’ 1981 by Chris Foss)<\/a><\/em>\u00a0by Glenn Brown. \u00a0Brown is known for taking existing work and embellishing it. This piece is a variation on\u00a0Floating Cities<\/a><\/em>\u00a0by well known \u00a0illustrator\u00a0Chris Foss<\/a>, who has done many space science fiction works.<\/p>\n

It’s not exactly my idea of realistic space art but it definitely is space themed. It made a big impression on the person who purchased it for $3.8M.<\/div>\n
