By the end you\u2019ll be ready to lead your branch in the first UKSEDS Rocketry Competition, competing to win loads of great rocketry equipment for your branch.<\/p>\n<p>More information will be added to each section as it becomes available. Please check back for more complete details. For any queries, contact <a href=\"mailto:events@ukseds.org\" target=\"_blank\">events@ukseds.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date &amp; Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workshop will be at the University of Sheffield on 12th October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advised to aim to reach the venue no later than 9:30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Details to be announced shortly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aims of workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year UKSEDS are putting together a rocketry training day, with the aim of training 1-3 members from each branch who will return heros to their branches and spearhead a rocketry project.<\/p>\n<p>The day will focus on covering the basic for starting a rocketry project like, where to source information and materials, what kind of software you can use to help you design a rocket, safety considerations and mistakes most people make.
