Here are some of his posts today regarding comments by Jeff Bingham, who was a space policy staffer for former Senator Kay Baily Hutchison (R-TX).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jeff_foust\" target=\"_d\">Jeff Foust (jeff_foust) on Twitter<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Jeff Bingham: at tipping point on NASA budget: with the House numbers in particular, NASA &#8220;can&#8217;t play these cards much longer&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Bingham: space policy can&#8217;t be set by White House alone, must be collaborative effort with Congress.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Bingham: we don&#8217;t need to accept status quo, flatline funding. We have the money to fund the space program adequately if we want.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Bingham shows the now-famous &#8220;rocket frog&#8221; image. The rocket is sequestration and other budget issues, he says; the frog, NASA.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Bingham: don&#8217;t see NASA policy becoming partisan; debate is over money.
