They enhance Club for the Future\u2019s ability to reach students, teachers, and communities, and to engage them in the excitement and adventure of innovation and space exploration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cOur recent auction for the first seat on New Shepard resulted in a donation of $28 million to our non-profit foundation, Club for the Future,\u201d said Bob Smith, Blue Origin CEO. \u201cThis donation is enabling Club for the Future to rapidly expand its reach by partnering with 19 organizations to develop and inspire the next generation of space professionals. \u202fOur generation will build the road to space and these efforts will ensure the next generation is ready to go even further.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 19 organizations include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.us\/v3\/__https:\/astrafemina.org\/__;!!OvyHrJTNo7faK-qlAog!e68MYi8bGeAeInpyBwMKEOe6wO9_RbbxsMhUnvYjiXEa7qyCwd9x-WcPLpnEL8c9iA$\">AstraFemina<\/a> is a collective of prominent leaders, including astronauts, academic professionals, and industry innovators, who have made a significant difference in the world by choosing diverse careers in STEM fields. Its mission is simple but powerful \u2013 to serve as role models to reinforce the message to today\u2019s girls and young women that anything is possible and help bridge the gap between believing and achieving.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.us\/v3\/__https:\/www.aiaa.org\/foundation__;!!OvyHrJTNo7faK-qlAog!dwDf2v06bwvKlcnupCVUY2UZDRYIxM05UpGAMw_OGdoN1bhN0f4BPfQE8bAb8rNk$\">AIAA Foundation<\/a>, which is connected to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), inspires and supports the next generation of aerospace professionals. From classroom to career, the AIAA Foundation enables innovative K-12 and university programming, including STEM classroom grants, scholarships, conferences, and hands-on competitions.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.us\/v3\/__https:\/www.astronautscholarship.org\/__;!!OvyHrJTNo7faK-qlAog!czeHgjDVrblTOIjSLMxWuz1n0zFho8XEc-E5KtfXUXSrVW_hwK1qo7QMvd6jW9gS$\">Astronaut Scholarship Foundation\u00a0<\/a>(ASF) provides merit-based\u00a0scholarships\u00a0for college students majoring in STEM programs at more than 44 partner universities.\u00a0Founded by the Mercury astronauts, ASF selects more than 50\u00a0Astronaut Scholars\u00a0each year.\u00a0They also provide programs focused on career development skills and virtual family activities to inspire K-12 students to positively change and innovate our future.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brookeowensfellowship.org\/\">Brooke Owens Fellowship<\/a>\u00a0offers paid internships and mentorship for exceptional undergrad women and gender minorities in aerospace.
