This comes after the system suffered a leak of the highly toxic propellant during a test in 2018. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nasa.gov\/commercialcrew\/2019\/05\/24\/boeing-completes-starliner-hot-fire-test\/\">Boeing Completes Starliner Hot Fire Test \u2013 Commercial Crew Program<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Boeing\u2019s CST-100 Starliner propulsion system was put to the test on Thursday at NASA\u2019s White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico in support of NASA\u2019s Commercial Crew Program. Teams ran multiple tests on Starliner\u2019s in-space maneuvering system and the spacecraft\u2019s launch abort system, which are key elements on the path to restore America\u2019s capability to fly astronauts to the International Space Station on American rockets and spacecraft from U.S. soil.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>The test used a flight-like Starliner service module with a full propulsion system comprising of fuel and helium tanks, reaction control system and orbital maneuvering and attitude control thrusters, launch abort engines and all necessary fuel lines and avionics.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Check out our brand new <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Starliner?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Starliner<\/a> propulsion test footage. Observers are on the lookout at Boca Chica for the arrival of the Raptor engine that will power the Starhopper&#8217;s low altitude flights, the first of which is currently set for Monday of next week.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/2019\/05\/spacex-ramps-up-hopper-tests-loom\/\">SpaceX ramps up operations in South Texas as Hopper tests loom \u2013 NASASpaceFlight.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brownsvilleherald.com\/news\/local\/spacex-testing-scheduled-for-next-week\/article_d50012b2-819e-11e9-a4b2-633140f8d6ab.html\">SpaceX testing scheduled for next week &#8211; Brownsville Herald<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From NSF:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Meanwhile, SpaceX techs have begun to accelerate testing operations ahead of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/?s=starhopper\">crucial series of flights involving the Starhopper suborbital vehicle<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/2019\/04\/starhopper-first-flight-starship-superheavy-updates\/\">The Hopper last flew on April 5th, 2019<\/a>, when it successfully performed a three foot hop test at the launch site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasaspaceflight.com\/?s=Raptor\">while under power from a single Raptor flight-ready engine<\/a>.
