Earth-looking optical telescopes are inhibited by cloudy weather, and only produce usable imagery during daytime.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>The satellite was developed by ISRO \u2014 the Indian space agency \u2014 and carries a dish-shaped radar antenna that was folded up to fit inside the rocket\u2019s payload compartment.
