NASA TV will provide live coverage:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bGD_YF64Nwk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>InSight was launched on May 5th and marks the first landing of a NASA spacecraft on the Red Planet since the Curiosity rover arrived in 2012. InSight&#8217;s mission, which should last at least two years, is to study Mars&#8217; deep interior. The studies will help scientists better understand the formation of Mars as well as other rocky worlds, including Earth.<\/p>\n<p>InSight is accompanied by two mini-spacecraft in a test named Mars Cube One (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpl.nasa.gov\/cubesat\/missions\/marco.php\">MarCO<\/a>). This is the first deep-space mission for CubeSats.
