He has formed &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/boringcompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Boring Company<\/a>&#8221; to investigate improvements in the design of giant tunnel\u00a0drilling machines that would allow them to\u00a0drill\u00a0several times faster than current\u00a0systems.
