What exists is woefully inadequate and frustrating and not helpful. This is why we want to create a space social network to connect space enthusiasts and ultimately realize a new life out there!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wCDnI2Rpa6A?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>From the Indiegogo page:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Why <u>Only<\/u> $1000?<\/em><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>People might ask:\u00a0\u201cIf you\u2019re really serious about creating the space social network of the future,\u00a0why are you asking for only $1000?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>We made this financial decision for a reason. As mentioned above, <strong>the goal of this &#8211; specific &#8211; Indiegogo campaign is to engage\u00a0a community of space enthusiasts excited about the possibilities of a new life out there.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>This community will be our ambassadors.<\/strong> The $1000 will only help us launch the NewSpace Club. And, the NewSpace Club team is currently volunteering; so labor is not a factor yet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>It is true that after the NewSpace Club is launched at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newspace.club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">www.newspace.club<\/a>, we will have to hire programmers, developers and\u00a0software engineers.\u00a0Many IT companies started with students and volunteers before having to hire people on salary.\u00a0Some of the resources\u00a0our members will ask for and those we plan for will cost a lot of money, and perhaps those can be added if we have an InDemand period.\u00a0Other costs will include specialized hardware, and we can invest pre-seed money in space transportation\u00a0startups.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>We would be very grateful if we went substantially over the $1000 goal of this Indiegogo campaign.
