The\u00a0rocket deployed eight small satellites for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/clasp-research.engin.umich.edu\/missions\/cygnss\/\" target=\"_blank\">CYGNSS<\/a> (Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System) mission, which will study tropical storms by using the way GPS signals are affected by the atmosphere.
