Abram<\/a>, which profiles participants in\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/lunar.xprize.org\/\" target=\"_d\">Google Lunar XPRIZE<\/a>\u00a0competition. The nine short films are now available on YouTube. (The videos\u00a0are also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/search?q=moon+shot&amp;c=movies&amp;docType=6&amp;sp=CAZiCwoJbW9vbiBzaG90egUYAMABAooBAggB:S:ANO1ljJlxXY\">available for free at Google Play<\/a>.) With a crack team of former students, he co-founded <a class=\"nsg-company-mouseover MOON nsg-gain\" href=\"https:\/\/app.newspaceglobal.com\/observer\/moon\" target=\"_blank\">Astrobotic<\/a> because he believes robots are the best solution for exploring remote, harsh environments &#8212; from nuclear disaster zones to the moon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/movies\/details\/Moon_Shot_Ep_2_Part_Time_Scientists_Germany?id=zQ3htKgBo30\" target=\"_d\">Ep. 2 &#8211; Part-Time Scientists &#8211; Germany<\/a>: &#8220;Founded by an ad hoc group of part-timers, this Berlin-based GLXP team [<a href=\"http:\/\/ptscientists.com\/\">PT Scientists<\/a>] plans to open source its mission data. Team leader Robert B\u00f6hme, who was raised in the former East Germany, says the free exchange of information is ultimately more important than money.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/movies\/details\/Moon_Shot_Ep_3_Team_Indus_India?id=R1mhY-ef46M\" target=\"_d\">Ep. 3 &#8211; Team Indus &#8211; India <\/a>&#8220;Deepana Gandhi dreamed of a career in math\/science, but she grew up in rural India where women aren&#8217;t typically afforded the same opportunities as men. After struggling to find a job, Deepana eventually landed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamindus.in\/\">Indus<\/a> in Bangalore, where she works on the equations necessary for navigating to the moon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/movies\/details\/Moon_Shot_Ep_4_Team_Plan_B_Canada?id=J8hG7raU-N4\" target=\"_d\">Ep. 4 &#8211; Team Plan B &#8211; Canada<\/a>: &#8220;Alex Dobrianski emigrated from the Ukraine to Vancouver to build a better life for his wife Luda and their three children.
