Mars Society Archimedes project update

As part of the German-led Archimedes Mars atmospheric sounding probe project, Mars Society Germany and several institutes of the University of the Federal Armed Forces of Germany in Munich will carry out a sounding rocket test, called MIRIAM, this summer at ESRANGE in northern Sweden. They just achieved a milestone in the preparations for the test: German Mars Society's MIRIAM Project Passes Crucial Test - Mars Society News - Mar.9.08.

Archimedies will get to Mars aboard the AMSAT-DLs P5A-Mission spacecraft.
