Spacehab ARCTUS website [Update]

The website www.arctus-spacecraft.com is now open for viewing. It describes the Spacehab (et al.) system proposed to NASA in the second round of the COTS program for commercial ISS resupply services.

[Update: SPACEHAB seems to be betting it all on winning the COTS competition and on doing ISS microgravity work: SPACEHAB Realigns Corporation: Company Positioned to Capture NASA COTS Business - Spacehab - Dec.10.07]

Not only do these guys at Spacehab put together a decent, professional looking website. They actually have some real (no vapour-ware) hardware to show on it!
excellent. Nice work guys.

Their system also is very flexible making use of just about any medium heavy class launch vehicle.
Plus it does something the ATV and the progress don't do and that is return things in one piece.
It will be a tough choice between this and the Loral/CSI proposal.
Either way these concepts seem a lot more innovative then the ESAS rockets and vehicles.

Loral/CSI proposal, you gotta be kidding? CSI is made up of three guys and one brief case. Loral is a comsat company that has never worked with NASA manned space program and does not have a clue as to how to do any of that. Just because Loral is respected (now that it has recovered from a recent bankruptcy) in one part of the space industry, don't think the company will just suddenly get it right in another.

Nope Spacehab is still the obvious winner, 23 years in space working with the MANNED space program, 23 years working with NASA politics, ups and downs, and let’s not forget the first commercial child hatched from NASA's nest. CSI is a complete paper joke, no money, just dreams, and pretty crummy ones at that.
