Clark,

this is not a forum, however, why don't open a post/debate about a crucial question:

"WHAT could happen if PRIVATES (not only COTS) will succeed in developing big, reliable, man-rated and very cheap rockets and capsules years BEFORE the first Orion/Ares-I launch?

that seems "impossible" to-day, but it could happen (and soon!)

and, if that will happen, should NASA stop to develop (both) Ares and Orion and BUY from privates?

Gaetano: use a forum like spacefellowship.com. That's what it's there for. Don't hijack Clark's blog with off-topic posts.

Stellvia,

I asked Clark, not you (and it's only a proposal)

As Stellvia says, this is my weblog, not a forum for discussion of topics proposed by others. There are lots of space forums specifically for what you want. (See list at
http://www.hobbyspace.com/L...
) Use those.
