Masten Space Level II attempt - Oct.28.09 #6

The team is back at the site and a new event window clock will be started soon. The webcast has not started yet.

The wind has apparently picked up but still Xoie is said to be able to fly in winds up to 40 mph.

Will Pomerantz has posted photos from today at the tests site: 2009 NGLLC: Masten, October 28-29 - Picasso.

Update 5:06 pm EDT: No flights today. They are still having communications problems out at the pad site. They will try again tomorrow morning. twitter.com/NGLLC09:

Masten is calling it off for the day... Just couldn't beat the connectivity gremlins. Will fly tmrw at about 9am PST

to a VTVL all winds are crosswinds.

that means you actually start your design with the worst case problem, which
simplifies later analysis.
