Soichi Noguchi's great space shots

A reader points me to an article about Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi who just returned to earth from a stay of several months on the ISS. He took many marvelous pictures of the earth while on the ISS and he would notified the followers to his Twitter account whenever he posted a new image on his web gallery: High Resolution From The High Frontier - NPR - June.1.10.

NASA site offers climate data imagery

NASA Goddard Scientific Visualization Studio recently opened a new section called Climate Essentials that contains galleries of imagery and data graphics for ten different climate related areas. See, for example, the galleries for Sea Ice, Global Temperatures, and Wildfires.
