Some in Congress are pushing for at least one additional Shuttle mission: It's hard to let go - Space Politics. The goal is to send the AMS cosmic antimatter search experiment to the ISS : Evaluating the worth of the AMS - Space Politics. (See a discussion in the comments about how COTS might figure into this problem.)

I hope NASA is allowed to launch the AMS. It'd be nice to see the ISS actually being utilized for a significant science experiment.
