No, the problems with suppliers was worked out and they will now extend Roadster production into 2012. See

I hope Elon gets into production of these new lithium batterries that are promising 5 times current lithium battery energy density. I also wish he would come out with a stripped 4 seater EV econobox for $20K. My datsun 210 MPG was great, it got 49 mpg highway, but it was not much to look at.
