Rosetta nears its comet

Rosetta is getting closer and closer to comet t 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko (or 67P/C-G): How Rosetta arrives at a comet – ESA.  The spacecraft will slow down on Wednesday, August 6th and maneuver to go into orbit around the object.

The temperature is higher than expected, which meanst there is probabaly little if any pure ice on the surface: Rosetta takes comet’s temperature – ESA
