January 27th marked the 47 year anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire that killed astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee. Today, January 28th, is the 28 year anniversary of the deaths of seven people in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.
