** A Chinese Long March 6, one of the country’s newest rockets, launched 3 earth observation satellites into orbit yesterday: Long March 6 lofts 3 satellites into orbit – CCTV News – CCTV.com English

** Asteroid mining company Planetary Resources is launching its Arkyd-6 satellite on an Indian rocket next month. The satellite will test out a water ice sensor that will be used on later spacecraft to prospect for water rich asteroids:
